Hello Dhaaarlings...
Things are a little out of sorts around here at the moment darlings...
Computer glitches have continued to curtail my regular blogging activities
and aside from being on a deadline for costumes for Annie of which i am yet to take any progress photos... which is quite unlike me.... I have developed some sort of compression on my spinal chord which has managed to curtail many of my activities somewhat due to the constant pain and muscular weakness. I am awaiting some dates to have some testing done.
My specialist wanted to admit me to a private hospital this Monday (I only saw him last Monday) to undergo some further tests with a view to surgery in the near future.
For three nights at $1000 a night the cost was way out of my league despite having a small amount of health cover.
Instead.... I'll be taking the Empress for a review of one of her hip replacements which is starting to play up on her and causing her a lot of pain.....
It seems that pain killers are becoming a regular thing around here!!!
I will wait to have the tests done on an outpatient basis which shouldn't take too long if my last experience of his care is any indication. Last time when i had a similar occurrence to what is happening now was over 2 years ago. Back at my last review he wanted me to go in for more surgery as there were a couple of vertebrae in my back that were likely to start causing me some trouble. It was not yet a year since the initial surgery and at the time I decided not to have it.

I'm hoping that the process of waiting will not be too long. Last time only took about a month and I'd been fixed! or so to speak....
In the meantime here are some pics of orchids from my garden...
