Hello Dhaaarlings...
The coat for the "March Hare" is completed....
Three dimensional carrot buttons and all!
they were quite the challenge to construct but...
well worth the extra effort given the final look that they give the coat...
close up of the antique braid button holes...
Cuff Detail
Sorry about the blurred close ups, but it is very early in the morning here and Princess is a little weary...
Time to toddle off to bed...
Nighty Nite Darlings
Very cool.
ReplyDeleteVery Bugs Bunny-esque!
MUST HAVE MARCH HARE COAT!
ReplyDeleteThe carrot buttons are inspired.
I have a gumball machine ring that has three little orange carrots with a little rhinestone in the middle, it's a three carrot diamond ring. Get it?
24-carrot gold!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA!!!!
The carrot buttons make the coat. Where were you when the girls wanted home made Halloween costumes? lol
ReplyDeleteDazzling darling, and worth all the hard work.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteQuite the imaginative touch, those carrots.
Knowing that you are doing your art gives me more hope than most could understand, but I know you do.
ReplyDeletePost Script,
You know I adore carrots!
Shouldn't there be one large carrot in the middle?
ReplyDeleteAll slot holes should have a garnish of some sort. Yes Mago, there should be one large carrot in the middle, a large organic one with the muck still on it.
