    We do so hope that they are good layers!! Our chicken keeping days were, sadly, brief. We thought it would all be so simple but it turned out not to be. Wishing you better luck!!

    they are not laying as yet.
    I am currently observing them only... They belong to my 3 Nieces and a Nephew.
    I am purely curious... I'm considering procuring some for the Palais Grounds but wish to follow their progress first.

    I am not quite sure Miss scarlet but they do seem to be taking an interest in an old refrigeration compressor. Perhaps they are looking at installing air conditioning into their coop compressor... I shall continue to observe.

    I suspect an escape plan is afoot!
    I am waiting for instillation of a chicken catapult. Its appearance should confirm my suspicions.

    I've always wanted a hen called Margaret. You can buy hatching eggs online here. They would make an unusual Christmas present for friends and family.
