I am Princess and I'm an Infomaniac... Bitch!
Prior to recent events I had prepared the following responsed to questions posted on Xl's Blog some time ago. I have added a few more of my own posers at the bottom of the page...
1. Coke or Pepsi?
I originally drank Coke for years then got tired of it and swiched to pepsi then as an individual stand against Global Branding and duopolies now dont drink either and I dont miss either either. Vodka works much better.
2. Do you play a musical instrument?
Not for a long time but i did play acoustic/folk guitar and played the clarinet. I still have a clarinet and occasionally get it out and have a blow...
3. If you could go back in time, would you make a different decision in your life?
I think the only decision that I would conscider in order to make things a little different would be to tell the people in my life that are nolonger that I loved them more often... Life is too short and we never know when someone that we love and sometimes take for granted are not in our lives any more... and once they are gone there is no way to tell them how much they were loved.. i often console myself by saying that they knew how much I loved them... but did they really know this... did I acknowledge just how much their presence meant to me while they were around and did I affirm these feelings by saying out aloud "I Love You"
I've taken the time to tell my family and friends openly just how much they mean to me and am able to let them know just how much they are loved. Otherwise I hold no regrets and would'nt change a thing.
4. Which sport do you consider to be "football?"
Aussie Rules of course! But I will admit that "The World Game" does cross all borders even if I still refer to it as Soccer.. (Hey our National team is called the "Socceroos") despite my dour scot of a great grandfther giving me a clip over the ears when I did so. The Female National team "The Matildas" Just won the Asian cup and are off to the womens world cup too.
5. Do you like to travel?
I love to travel. I have been all around Australia, Visiting all states and territories and living for a while in several of them, mostly Victoria, Northern Queensland and Western Australia. I have had one major trip Overseas to China. It was mostly holiday and touring but for one week stayed at the Bejing Institute of Sport studying TaiChi with a couple of the Masters. A fantastic experience and one that I will never forget.
I haven't aspired to travel overseas since then but plan to one day.
6. Do you like Piña Coladas and getting caught in the rain?
Pina Colladas? Honestly I have never had one, but I love getting caught in the rain. Even when it is cold.
I'm not much into health food, but I have half a brain, I've never made love at midnight in the dunes by the cape, but hey... I'm willing to give it a try, though I did get lucky one time at around midnight while skinny dipping in the hotsprings at Mataranka. My bathers floated away never to be seen again and I had to walk back to the campground in the nude... that was fun.
7. Surely you like cats, right?
To be honest I get an allergic reaction to Cat Saliva. However I do like other peoples cats, just so long a pussy doesn't lick me. And It's not like I'd be licking any pussy... I did try it once or twice but I'm cured now.
8. Beatles or Stones?
I tend to spray unwanted beetles but do try to encourage helpful lady bugs and I decorate with stones... they make wonderful paths and look great when large ones are arranged as a feature/focal point in the garden... Oh.. you mean the musical types....
Sorry but It has to be the beatles, given that I have played and sung so many of there songs over the years.
I was never really into the Stones although I do like some of their tunes, I'm a bit eclectic with music as clarinet was mainly clasically focussed when I had lessons and guitar was more folk oriented. Then I discovered the joys of Jazz and I was hooked on the old standards.
9. Which foreign languages can you speak (regardless of fluency)?
None apart from odd words or greetings in French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek and Italian and German but don't try to get me to spell any of them here..
10. What special meal would you prepare for me?
I'd prepare any meal that your heart desired. I love cooking and will give anything a bash (Then cook it for you) No... I mean it name something and i'll have a go at making it for you.
6 Extra Questions... One easy answer.

so that both just "magically' disappear?

From...'Blogger' user terms of reference.
"Blogger is a free service for communication, self-expression and freedom of speech. We believe Blogger increases the availability of information, encourages healthy debate, and makes possible new connections between people.
We respect our users' ownership of and responsibility for the content they choose to share. It is our belief that censoring this content is contrary to a service that bases itself on freedom of expression.
In order to uphold these values, we need to curb abuses that threaten our ability to provide this service and the freedom of expression it encourages. As a result, there are some boundaries on the type of content that can be hosted with Blogger. The boundaries we've defined are those that both comply with legal requirements and that serve to enhance the service as a whole.
Adult Content:
We do allow adult content on Blogger, including images or videos that contain nudity or sexual activity. But, please mark your blog as 'adult' in your Blogger settings.
Otherwise, we may put it behind a 'mature content' interstitial.
There are some exceptions to our adult content policy:
Do not use Blogger as a way to make money on adult content.
For example, don't create blogs where a significant percentage of the content is ads or links to commercial porn sites.
We do not allow image, video or text content that depicts or encourages incest or bestiality.
Crude Content:
Don't post content just to be shocking or graphic.
For example, collections of close-up images of gunshot wounds or accident scenes without additional context or commentary would violate this policy.
Our team reviews these flags for policy violations.
If the blog does not violate our policies, we will not take any action against the blog or blog owner.
If we find that a blog does violate our content policies, we take one or more of the following actions based on the severity of the violation:
Put the blog behind a 'mature content' interstitial
Put the blog behind an interstitial where only the blog author can access the content
Delete the blog
Disable the author's access to his/her Blogger account
Disable the author's access to his/her Google account
Report the user to law enforcement"
i love the answers to xl's questions, sugar! y'all have such a good heart! xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeletePrincess, our efforts are paying off! All those group postings at Blogger Forum and the various postings by fellow bloggers to spread the word have gotten the Blogger Team's attention. They've started responding and set up a 5 step procedure that can help MJ recover Infomaniac. Keep up the good work, spreading the word and putting pressure on Blogger. It's getting us results! Fantastic efforts, people!
ReplyDeleteYour answers to XL's questions are fantastic!
I'm laughing at your nude walk in the night. Ha! That's fun.
And how amazing it is that you've been to China to immerse yourself in part of their history and culture! Phenomenal!
I think telling people you love that you really do love them is important. Life really is short.
And congratulations on your women's soccer team doing so well. I still call it soccer, too.
I confess that when it comes to Rugby, I cheer for New Zealand and Australia! I like rooting for the Pacific countries against the rest of the world, esp since the other world countries have bigger budgets and huge training facilities.
It's a good thing you didn't cough up a hairball when dealing with pussy. I myself happen to enjoy their company and playing with them!
What wonderful answers!
ReplyDeleteNext time I'm in Oz, I'll buy you a Piña Colada!
Blogger is becoming the Fourth Reich. I am considering moving.
Bashing something and then cooking it up sounds like my kinda dinner party . Great answers Your Royal Highness :-)
