It's movie Clip Wednesday and after a weeks break of galavanting around the countryside..

Milk River Madman... Our wonderous host....

 Has returned with a theme this week that has it's own little twist.

The theme for Wednesday 29th September 2010 is...

"Famous/Popular Movie I haven't seen...

 But really should before I die... because everyone tell's me it's great."

Thank you Madman... That leaves me with so many options...

However...

I have to admit that I have gone with a choice of a movie that

I Never... Ever... Intentionaly Want To Subject Myself To...

Do I make myself clear?

I got so sick of all the superhyped build-up surrounding it's release here...
The ceaseless vomit inducing media coverage surrounding the two main protagonists and alleged Box office big time stars...

The Gong goes to....
Ms Kidman Cruise Urban and the very overrated Huge Jackman
Along with a cast of thousands of old hack hasbeen actors that no one outside of this country would recognise... let alone be able to name.

Hell ... half of them leave such an indellable impact I don't even know who they are or recognise them....

And whats more... I can't even bring myself to mention the name of this Horrific Flick.

And I Live Here!

I usually Love what Baz Lhurman does behind the camera...

Strictly Ballroom...Seen it... Loved It

Romeo and Juliet...Seen it... Loved It

Moulin Rouge... Seen It...And dispite Ms Kidman Cruise Urban"s presence...Loved It

 

But this did me in... as I was rudely assaulted by it's horror as its trailer lurched onto the big screen mid mouthful of popcorn causing me to sputter and cough in disbelief.

Such was the shock that I can no longer recall the main feature...I still shudder at the memory...

Apparently the scenery is very pretty... or so I've been told...
It probably is... but one tends not to notice such things when one is an inhabitant... It's just home...

We were bombed during WW2 So were many other countries to a much greater extent than us... Read your history books people...

It was and still is tough on the land... 

Ms Kidman Cruise Urban's English accent is well... dubious... or so I'm told... which is quite unfortunate given that she was born in England

And her emotive facial expressions are always so... botoxed .... naturally believable...


Oh... and Mr Huge Jackman takes his shirt off...

Well... Do me a favour... I don't think that ones ability to remove ones shirt is any indication of being a good actor...It seems lately that he takes his shirt off in every role he attempts to portray... even when jumping out of bathtubs with very sharp knives attached to the ends of his arms

Is this constant disrobing a mandatory stipulation of his contract?

One may well ask...He probably would have done so given half the chance while hosting the Oscars if it would get past the censorship board...

So for those of you who have been wetting yourselves in anticipation of seeing what Princess is "Showing at the Palais" this week

It's Getting Hotter....

Hello Dhaaarlings...

They're still at it over at Castle De Vice...

It's a Witch Hunt...

And the competition is heating up....

A series of tasks have been set by IDV and Tim for each of the aspirants to the position

The first task for the hopefuls is to woo hapless strangers using
alluring mystical magic... wicked wyles... and cunning stunts...

Early indications are that things are not going well....

However.... the next task should prove to be more fruitful....

 

MJ and CyberPete ready to do battle in the shoe hunt...



With wands drawn at the ready...the second task involves Shoes...

And requires demonstration of  twin skills...

The first.... naming the designers and listing them in alphabetical order....

Demonstrating  a thorough knowledge of the most important of all fashion accoutriments for the well heeled Witch

  and

The second...Lining up the shoes in order from highest to lowest price....

Demonstrating an inate ability to recognise quality and an eye for spotting a bargain...

Having completed this succesfully

Each applicant will then face off with each other and demontrate their skills... by fair means or foul... in procuring pairs of shoes.

 Each pair successfully gathered will be locked away under enchantments and spells in their closet...

Thus thwarting other applicants in their endeavour...

The one that can gather the most pairs being declared the winner of the task...

Given the callibre of the contestants this one should be a "shoe in"

Iv'e managed to find a potential logo for the new coven..

I think it is a reflection of interpersonal skills and Witch Slapping abilities....

Broom handling skills were only marred slightly





MJ zigged when she should have zagged....



As one unfortunate applicant failed to heed the warning sign....

Have you heard the news?...

Word on the street has it that...

The covern over at Castle De Vice is suffering a little empty nest syndrome...

Some of its founding members have mounted their brooms and headed off into the ether...

Leaving IDV at "InexplicableDevice" and his band of merry man "Tim" at

"Sparky Malarky" 

Alone...

 Together...

"Finally" you might say.... "I always knew it would happen one day"....

"I'm so happy for the pair of them" I hear you gush...

"That' s wonderful news"...

Well aparrently it is not!...

 

Not totally happy with this long awaited and much anticipated union...

IDV has put out the call for new covern members...

And is currently in the throws of passion passionately vetting new supplicants.

Well I always say... Why spoil a good phantasy?...

But who am I to give an opinion?

Mr De Vice has been busily demostrating exceptionally spectacular Broom skills...

And the competition has been heating up with MJ, CyberPete, and Mr Beastie all viing for a coveted covern position... 

 An ability to manage an out of control magic mirror... with a mind of it's own would be highly admirable... 

 And a posessed soul with the skills to delicateley manage an apocalyptic oven are a must...

 So so may I suggest that we all just just lay back and relax my pretties

Respectively fondle their balls in consultation of your future....

Princess' Patch.... An Update....

Remember this?...

It was the beginnings of a potato patch

Prior to preparation and planting....

Well now it's looking like this...

The other day I was telling Boxer I'd been busy making Marmalade and Strawberry Jam after she had been busy making "Sugar Hits"

So here are some Photos of the finished Product

And the silver beet is taking off at a great rate of knots

As is the Broccoli...

And the lettuce and sno peas...

The lettuce will need thinning out very soon...
